This page covers privacy and cookies for the website. The terms on which we carry out work are set out on our quotes and invoices, not on this website.

What we collect

We may collect:

• Enquiry details you submit via the quote or contact form: name, contact number, email address, service type and message.
• Phone and job records when you call us or we carry out work, including addresses, appointment notes, invoices and guarantee records.
• Technical data needed to run and protect the site (for example IP address, browser type and security signals) via Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile.
• Analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and referral information) only if you accept analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-DBM426MGQL).

We do not use your details for marketing emails unless you have separately agreed to that.

How we use it

We use personal data to:

• Reply to enquiries and provide quotes
• Carry out heating, plumbing and electrical work
• Invoice you and manage credit accounts where applicable
• Handle guarantee claims and customer service
• Protect the website from spam and abuse (Turnstile and Cloudflare security)
• Understand how the site is used, if you have accepted analytics

Our lawful bases are normally legitimate interests (running and protecting the business and website) and/or steps needed to enter into or perform a contract when you ask us to quote or carry out work.

Sharing your details

We do not sell your details. We only share information with processors who help us operate the business, for example:

• Cloudflare Email Sending — to send enquiry emails from the website form
• Cloudflare — to host and protect the website (Workers and security services, including Turnstile)
• Google — Analytics, only when you have accepted analytics cookies
• Payment providers or insurers where needed to take payment or handle a claim

Any keys left with our operatives to gain access to a property are kept secure.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to work and stay secure. This includes Cloudflare Worker / CDN security cookies (for example bot management and challenge cookies such as __cf_bm and related Cloudflare identifiers) and Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam checks. These do not require consent.
• Analytics — Google Analytics 4 cookies (for example _ga and _ga_*) measure traffic and key actions such as form completions and phone clicks. These are optional and are only set if you accept analytics.

Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage key rsf_cookie_consent) so we remember it on later visits. You can change it at any time using the controls below or via Cookie settings in the footer.

If you reject analytics we still load Google’s tags in Consent Mode v2 with analytics storage denied, so Google may use cookieless / modelled measurement where permitted. No analytics cookies are written in that case. We do not use URL passthrough, so rejecting analytics does not add Google tracking parameters to page URLs.
