Power flushing

A build-up of corrosion in your system can create a sludge that really affects the efficiency of your boiler.

A power flush is a one-off deep clean that makes sure your radiators heat up properly and there are no more cold spots. It helps to increase the life of the whole system, keeps heating bills down and reduces the risk of breakdowns.

A power flush is a full-system clean, usually completed in a single visit.

We connect a purpose-built flushing pump to your heating system and circulate cleaning chemicals through the boiler, pipework and radiators at high flow. That loosens and removes the black iron oxide sludge that causes cold spots, noisy boilers and poor circulation.

Each radiator is flushed in turn so debris is driven out of the circuit, then the system is rinsed thoroughly with clean water. Where appropriate we fit or service a magnetic filter (MagnaClean-style) and dose the system with a corrosion inhibitor, so sludge is less likely to build up again.

When we leave, radiators should heat evenly, the water should run clear, and you’ll have a cleaner, more efficient heating system, with less strain on the boiler.
